Kelly Fox, CEO/President of Lumber Traders has announced to the Board of Directors and Shareholders that he has accepted a new position and is leaving the Company at the end of May. Fox has been the Chief Executive Officer/President of Lumber Traders since September 2013 and also, more recently, Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Trustee.
The Board has named Danny Steiger interim CEO/President effective May 1. Steiger is currently the store manager at Hartnagel Building Supply. His 18 years of building industry experience gives him the experience and skills necessary to assume this interim position. Fox and Steiger will be working together through the month of May to ensure a smooth transition. ESOP Advisory Committee member Josh Bergesen will be assuming the role of ESOP trustee. He will also be working with Fox to further understand the Trustee role.
