Community First Fundraiser for Boy Scouts Proves to Be the Most Successful!

We broke all our fundraising records with the August Community First Saturday benefiting the Mt. Olympus District of the Boy Scouts of America!

Angeles Millwork, Hartnagels and the Mt. Olympus District of the Boy Scouts of America are so grateful and appreciative for our incredibly generous customers and our selfless community!

Lumber Trader’s Advertising Coordinator Josh Bergesen presented representative Shana Scott of Mt. Olympus District of the Boy Scouts of America with checks and cash from our August Community First Saturday promotion totaling over $1600!

We’d like to thank everyone who shopped with us this past Saturday, you are the driving force behind the current and future success of our Community First Saturdays. 5% of retail sales were donated to the Mt. Olympus District of the Boy Scouts of America along with over $500 in direct donations from our customers!

Our customers have now helped raise over $6300 for non-profits on the Olympic Peninsula!

AMAZING!

If you missed it, join us Saturday September 8th as we continue on with Community First Saturdays by benefiting Port Angeles Education Foundation and Five Acre School. Representatives will be at the stores that Saturday sharing with our customers about the impact they have and the essential work they do within our educational communities!
